Sean 'Diddy' Combs Raids: Evidence for Warrants Came From a Murder Suspect, Ex-Agent Thinks

The Tupac-Diddy link won't die.

Former chief of the FBI office in Los Angeles, Phil Carson, stated that evidence supporting search warrants for Combs's houses in Florida and Los Angeles may have originated from the man accused of murder last year, Duane "Keefe D" Davis.

As per a former FBI agent who investigated the 1996 murder of artist Tupac Shakur, federal raids on Sean "Diddy" Combs's mansions, which has now become a full-blown trafficking probe, may have something to do with the recent gangster's arrest and all-out confession.

Retired Tupac Murder Investigator Says Suspect Could Be The Real Cause Behind Diddy Probe

Carson described how a looming life sentence could now be forcing former gangster Davis, 60, to spill his crimes and even new secrets about Diddy, 54, to the law enforcement officers or investigators. He said that nobody is loyal now if faced with a life sentence.

"It's not like the olden days of the Italian mafia where everybody kept their mouth shut," the ex-Bureau agent explained. The minute one is handcuffed, this person can even sell out "their own mom."

"Keefe's arrested, and that's a game-changer, because they have something over him. And that's when he may start spilling his guts," he expounded.

Carson added that he's not directly saying the alleged murderer is the real reason - but one can beg to wonder where the evidence against Diddy came from.

Feds' Evidence Could Have Come From Tupac Murder Suspect

"That's not to say it's the reason federal law enforcement executed these warrants on Diddy's house," he cautioned.

"But it would be interesting to know what the evidence is, and where that evidence came from, that they put in these affidavits to get both these search warrants. It's got to be something of substance," he added.

It's not as if this would be Davis's first time throwing Diddy under the bus.

One can only recall that back in. 2008 temporary immunity deal, Davis told LAPD detectives that Combs offered him $ 1 million so he could kill Death Row Records boss Suge Knight.

Interestingly, Davis gave the same account outside of the immunity agreement and in a book, which makes it more credible.

It was also what made it possible for Vegas police to detain him on September 29, 2023, for the murder.

Everything this retired fed says must be taken with a grain of salt, though.

There has been no clear link established between the Shakur murder inquiry and the Homeland Security (HSI) officials' Monday raids of Combs's Miami and Holmby Hills houses.

Instead, their aids were purportedly related to an inquiry into sex trafficking.
