Fresh off of a signing with Warner Records, country star Orville Peck is preparing for a massive North American tour that will take him everywhere from North Carolina to Toronto. Peck announced his plans to Rolling Stone, emphasizing his excitement to play live again after a well-needed rest.
"I feel healthier and happier than I've ever felt in my life and I cannot wait to get back on the road," he said.
The star took a break from touring during 2023, and released only a cover song that year. Now, the masked vocalist is set to take on his Stampede Tour, which begins on May 28 at Asheville, North Carolina's Rabbit Rabbit. Peck will be on the road until the end of October, where the tour wraps up at the Paramount in Brooklyn, New York.
Joining Peck at various points on tour are Durand Jones, Debbii Dawson, The War And Treaty, Goldie Boutilier, Jaime Wyatt, Gold Star, Nikki Lane, Emily Nenni and Vincent Neil Emerso.
This week, Peck will be performing at the Midland: The Last Resort Cruise 2024, which-as its name suggests-takes place on a cruise ship leaving from Miami.
Peck also has an exciting collaboration coming up: a cover with Willie Nelson. The duo will be covering the 1980s track, "Cowboys Are Frequently Secretly Fond of Each Other." The "Roses are Falling" singer teased that on Instagram that his link-up with the country music icon will be released on April 5.
Peck, who hails from Johannesburg, South Africa, released Pony, his debut album, in 2019. He followed the record up with Show Pony (2020), before dropping Bronco, his first and only LP under Columbia Records, two years ago. Peck went on to cover "This Masquerade" in 2023 as a tribute to Leon Russell. The singer has also appeared on reality television shows, notably as a guest judge on RuPaul's Drag Race.
