Diddy Raid Video Shows 'Military Level Force' Used: Internet Divided Over Feds Treatment

Diddy's home raid has become a hot topic all over social media. Apart from Diddy's questionable behavior, his alleged ties to a sex trafficking ring prompted Homeland Security to conduct a bicoastal raid on his two houses in California and in Florida.

The never-before-seen CCTV footage has been leaked on social media, and netizens are debating whether it was ethical.

Diddy Raid Video Shows' Military-Force Used'

The video that TMZ has obtained shows how Homeland Security entered Diddy's mansion in Los Angeles, California, and how they cuffed Diddy's sons as they raided the mansion after securing a warrant from New York.

The video shows military trucks being used by full-combat gear personnel equipped with high-grade military firearms, ready for possible combat.

Misa Hylton, the mother of Diddy's son, slammed the feds over the alleged video.

"The over zealous and overtly militarized force used against my sons Justin and Christian is deplorable," she wrote on Instagram. "If these were the sons of a non-Black celebrity, they would not have been handled with the same aggression. The attempt to humiliate and terrorize these innocent young BLACK MEN is despicable!"

Diddy's lawyers have since slammed the raids, saying: "Yesterday, there was a gross overuse of military-level force as search warrants were executed at Mr. Combs' residences. There is no excuse for the excessive show of force and hostility exhibited by authorities or the way his children and employees were treated. Mr. Combs was never detained but spoke to and cooperated with authorities."

Meanwhile, the footage launched a debate on social media, with netizens discussing whether the raid was ethical.

Diddy Raid Video Divides The Internet

Over on Twitter, many commented that the authorities seemed to have acted excessively during the raid.

"They did more here than if there was a active shooter," a user tweeted, while another noted that the feds "came like they was looking for osama."

"Didn't know El Chapo and Bin Laden lived at Diddy's house where ALL those agents with big guns were needed," another wrote.

However, some were unfazed by the footage they saw.

"Why is everyone shocked? Have they never seen a raid before? This is what a raid looks like.. Especially on a gigantic mansion..," one defended.

"To all the meatballs/experts out there: This is VERY standard procedure for the feds doing this (LOL @ "raid"). They have no clue what they're walking into or the danger inside - even at Diddy's house. All very very standard," another shared.
