Gwen Stefani expressed regret about not prioritizing time with her sons, Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo, over her career.
When Stefani, found herself striving to meet the expectations of her bandmates-Tom Dumont, Tony Kanal, and Adrian Young- the front woman realized she was neglecting her personal life and loved ones.
In her recent cover story for Nylon magazine's Spring/Summer 2024 issue, Stefani recalled to the outlet, "I'd be like, 'Oh my God ... I didn't have dinner with my family, and I didn't write a song.'"
She went on to say, "'I wasted an entire day of my life trying to be in No Doubt again.'"
During the creation of No Doubt's 2012 album, "Push and Shove," Stefani found herself struggling to balance her work with her responsibilities as a mother of two, now three, while being married to then-husband Gavin Rossdale.

The mom-of-three revealed feeling exhausted and overwhelmed, expressing that the creative process felt foreign and challenging during this period of her life.
"Things change when you have two babies. I had no ideas. I had so much insecurity. I felt like - help!"
Following Kingston's arrival, the GXVE mogul admitted to experiencing a creative slump, feeling "dead", and failing to meet expectations when news of Zuma's impending arrival.
"I don't think they would say that," Stefani described her bandmates. "No one's going to be mad you're having a baby. But while I was busy, they were kind of waiting."
In 2015, the band had their last performance, during which Stefani jokingly mentioned to Nylon the possibility of them going to therapy together.
"We have a lot of water under the bridge."
As Stefani reunites with Dumont, Kanal, and Young for Coachella this upcoming weekend, her relationship with Rossdale, 58, took a different turn, leading to a less joyful outcome as they headed for a divorce.
Meanwhile, Stefani is now married to Blake Shelton.
Future of No Doubt After Coachella 2024 Reunion
Stefani has also sparked uncertainties among her fans regarding the future of No Doubt.
In the same interview, the lead singer of the group shared that, despite being receptive to new possibilities, there are currently no intentions for additional No Doubt music following the band's anticipated reunion performance at the 2024 Coachella music festival, nor a subsequent tour in the works.
"[Coachella is] going to be a really nice bow to tie on the relationship, because we were kids [when we met]"
The "Hollaback Girl" hitmaker went on to say, "I already know what it's going to feel like because we're just so in sync when we're onstage."
"It's going to feel like riding a bike again. We're going to be laughing, and we're going to look at each other and go, 'Oh my gosh - there you are.'"
Despite Stefani acknowledging that the Coachella reunion was long overdue, she revealed during that the group had yet to spend time together or engage in any activities in preparation for the performance. Additionally, they were not consistently keeping in touch with each other.
