Gwen Stefani Addresses Latest Divorce Buzz

Before this Nylon interview, as reported by US Sun, she already shared that she wrote one of her most vulnerable songs "Purple Irises" to relay her insecurities with herself and her marriage to Blake Shelton.

At the time, she said, "I knew the day I wrote Purple Irises I needed to be truthful to myself and write this song about, I'm getting older, I don't feel pretty."

At the time, she said she asked herself, "If I don't feel pretty, how could someone else think I'm pretty still? What if somebody tries to take my love away from me?" she continued.

Naturally, divorce rumors sprung up anew.

She addressed the divorce rumors in this present interview, and firmly refuted them by expressing her love for Blake.

"In my own relationship, even though I know the truth of what's happening today, you still create drama in your own mind about your insecurities and what might happen. I was in that phase of the relationship with Blake and getting paranoid," she told the magazine.

Gwen went on to say that she has no problems with Blake and that she's still "in love with my best friend" despite her "overthinking."

She added that with the kind of love they share, their ideals have became completely in sync.

"But when you're in love and have truly aligned values, nobody can get to us. You can say whatever you want to say about our relationship - I mean, a week ago we were getting divorced again or something," she told the outlet.

"It's just lies. The truth is the truth, and we know what that is. And so that [negativity] would never penetrate just by me being vulnerable and sharing a song ["Purple Irises"] that I didn't write for anybody else but myself and Blake."
