Tom Jones shows no signs of stopping in the music industry as he continues his world tour.
The Ages and Stages World Tour wrapped up its Australian dates and led Jones to start his South American trek. The legendary singer, now 83, spoke about his voice's "unbelievable" quality despite singing for over six decades.
Tom Jones Shares Thoughts About His Voice
Speaking with The Mirror, Jones quipped about his voice and how it still amazingly works.
"I mean I can't believe it, but it is true. When I am singing I am like, 'How the hell is this coming out of me?' Honestly," he said. "If the voice was not there I am sure I would be going 'Urgh, I don't want to do so many shows' but I love it as the voice is still working!"
The "Green Green Grass of Home" hitmaker performed at the Byron Bay Bluesfest on top of his schedules in Adelaide and Melbourne.
He will also visit venues in Mexico, Brazil, Argentina and Chile before launching his U.K. shows in June.
Jones previously revealed he had no plans to retire from performing. He told Metro U.K. he would only retire if his voice started to fail.
"Being old, you can't do what you used to do. I mean, I can't walk around like I used to but I wouldn't want to now. When you're young you're full of p--- and vinegar and you're giving it plenty. Now I concentrate more on singing than I do anything else," he went on. "I'm still able to get up there and do it live. I don't know, it's a good question because I've never really thought about that ... If people want to go and see that then fine."

What Happened to Tom Jones?
While Jones' voice remains okay, he has dealt with numerous health woes over the years.
In 2017 and 2022, he underwent separate hip replacement surgeries after he began struggling to stand for long hours. This caused him to use a cane while performing during his American tour.
Jones also sparked concerns when he reportedly collapsed in Budapest in December 2022 before his tour concert. He later clarified what exactly happened to him.
"I travelled last night from the UK to Budapest and woke up this morning with an uncomfortable throat. A specialist came to visit and diagnosed 'viral laryngitis," he went on. "He strongly advised postponing this evening's show and prescribed medication and vocal rest."
