Lisa Stansfield was one of the most famous pop musicians of the 1980s, but the singer is rarely seen in recent years. That's why many fans were surprised to see her photos with her husband circulate on the internet.
According to Metro, the pop singer and her significant other, producer Ian Devaney, were photographed strolling around London more than three decades after she released the massive hit "All Around The World."
For her outfit, the musician opted to wear a simple monochromatic combination and several layers of clothing due to the cold weather. She finished her look with a YSL belt, a hat, and a pair of Gucci loafers.
Devaney and Stansfield were friends during their teenage years and later became musical collaborators. They got romantically involved later in life as they tied the knot in 1988.
He wasn't the singer's first husband as she was previously married to Augusto Grassi in 1987, but they separated only after four months.
The couple went on to work on "All Around The World," and it became her most iconic track to date.
Lisa Stansfield Net Worth 2024
According to Celebrity Net Worth, Lisa Stansfield's fortune is estimated to be around $15 million, which mainly came from her work as a musician.
According to a 2005 story published by The Guardian, the musician had sold over 20 million albums since the release of her big song.
Regardless of the massive fame she amassed and the money she earned from everything, she clarified that it didn't make her any happier because of its negative aspects.
"Having money hasn't made me any happier... There are some negatives associated with it too, like having to be away from home when you don't want to be. It seems to me I'm either at home twiddling my thumbs all the time or I'm away on tour and homesick," she said.
She added that traveling for work was hard for her, and it was the "worst part" because she was in and out of airports and not sleeping in her bed.
