Rodney "Lil Rod" Jones Jr. has leveled new accusations against Sean "Diddy" Combs in a recent sworn statement to the court.
Once a close associate within the Bad Boy Records empire, Jones has presented the court with a recording allegedly featuring Combs boasting about his involvement in nefarious and unlawful deeds over the years.
Diddy's Alleged Sex Trafficking Crimes
Proclaiming to possess direct proof and firsthand insight into Combs' alleged wrongdoings, Jones, a producer involved in The Love Album: Off the Grid project with Combs, has come forward with shocking allegations.
These accusations include claims of physical assault, tax evasion, and the disturbing allegation of a woman being shot.
Jones explained, via AllHipHop, "He shared how he would get things by force. This included record deals, signatures on contracts, sex acts from women and men, as well as the women of his enemies."
Combs is accused of making bold claims on the recording that span across a range of criminal behaviors. These alleged activities include pressuring people into signing record deals and engaging in sexual acts, as well as reportedly assaulting industry professionals and avoiding taxes using offshore accounts.
Jones also makes bold claims, alleging that Combs enjoyed detailing his sway over famous personalities and creatives, especially when it came to orchestrating situations in his favor.
The music producer also recalls how Combs confessed to implicating Jennifer Lopez in questionable actions, using his influence to shift blame onto Shyne for a nightclub incident in exchange for a music contract from Arista Records thanks to LA Reid.
According to him, Combs managed to avoid conviction by utilizing the legal expertise and financial resources of the late attorney Johnny Cochran. Jones alleged that Cochran's skills in handling cases and the use of private investigators and other intermediaries to influence witnesses were instrumental in Combs' successful defense.
Jones also alleged that Combs continued to display a fondness for forcefully confronting record executive Steve Stoute regarding a disagreement about Nas' music video "Hate Me Now." The altercation resulted in Stoute sustaining injuries to his jaw and arm.
Sean Combs' Confession to More Crimes
During the court proceedings, Jones recounted Combs' boasting about his authority and violent actions towards record executive Stoute and Rechnitzer. Jones described how Combs found amusement in sharing the details of striking Stoute with a champagne bottle and a chair while also proudly recalling the altercation with Rechnitzer outside a Hollywood nightclub.
According to court documents, the legal complaint paints a portrait of a man exerting significant influence over the industry's legal and financial aspects. It further alleges that Combs orchestrated this control by investing in shell companies and strategically transferring funds to offshore accounts that are difficult to trace.
Jones said, "Mr. Combs also informed me that only poor people pay taxes. He shared that it is a common practice in the music industry to wire money from anonymous accounts overseas. This way, if there is ever a need to take care of a problem, it would never be traced back to him. These accounts were in Germany."
But Combs has rejected Jones' allegations as baseless, branding the lawsuit as a work of fiction. Combs condemned both Jones and his legal counsel, Tyrone Blackburn, for initiating a lawsuit solely to seek attention.
Following legal proceedings initiated by Jones, Combs is now under investigation by Homeland Security. Federal agents have conducted searches at his properties in New York, Los Angeles, and Miami based on suspicions of involvement in a sex trafficking network.
Jones is suing Combs for $30 million.
