Nearly two years after the industry lost Loretta Lynn, the late country music singer's legacy is still brightly burning.

Lynn started her career in the 1950s by singing in local clubs. Her love for music soon pushed her to expand her career through her band, Trailblazers, before pursuing a solo career.

Among her hit projects were Loretta Lynn Sings, Coal Miner's Daughter, God Bless America Again, When the Tingle Becomes a Chill, Dynamic Duo, Making Love from Memory, Full Circle and Still Woman Enough.

Lynn's family confirmed her death in a statement to The Associated Press, revealing that the award-winning singer died on October 4, 2022, at the age of 90.

The cause of death was not disclosed, but Lynn faced different health issues before her passing.

Days after her death, Lynn's loved ones arranged a private ceremony before burying her remains in their family's cemetery on her Hurricane Mills estate. One hundred guests reportedly attended the funeral, which she personally planned by leaving instructions.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Lynn's net worth was $65 million at the time of her death.

Most of her fortune came from the earnings her hit records made. Southern Living estimated that she sold more than 45 million records worldwide.

Loretta Lynn's Health Issues

Prior to her death, Lynn went through worse due to the health issues she faced.

In 2016, she confirmed she was recuperating after a recent fall that led her to cancel her annual Labor Day show.

Lynn was hospitalized the following year after suffering a stroke at her home.

"Loretta wants to thank everybody for their prayers love and support. Loretta has been moved from hospital facility to rehabilitation and we're happy to report she is doing great!" an update on her Facebook page read.

She continued her recovery period but hit a glitch again when she fell at her home and sustained a broken hip on January 1, 2018.

"She had an accident on New Year's Day and fractured her hip," one of her children told People. "At my mom's age it's so dangerous when it comes to the hip, so we're all just grateful she seems to be okay. She's up, putting weight on it and starting her rehab now."
