Lana Del Rey's late Coachella performance is causing the festival to pay a big price.

After the "Video Games" songstress went 13 minutes over her scheduled curfew on Friday night, she has landed the music festival with a $28,000 fee, TMZ reports. While the 13 minutes might not seem like much, the city of Indio's strict rules still slapped the event organizers with a fine. The Grammy-nominee hit the stage at 11:20 p.m., riding on to the grounds on the back of a motorcycle.

The fee from Del Rey was the only fine the festival received throughout its two weekends of performances, which is much better compared to last year's $117,000 in fees. In 2022, the two weekends of Coachella and one weekend of Stagecoach led to $61,000 in fees.

Crime and arrests were notably lower at this year's festival, seemingly more laid-back than past years. During the first weekend, there were 20% less arrests and 43% less citations. However, low ticket sales may have led to the drop in commotion. There were several passes available on the website up until the day-of, as opposed to how it usually sells out within a day.

Lana Del Rey's set featured 19 songs, including a surprise appearance from Camila Cabello during the second weekend. The former Fifth Harmony star joined her onstage for the first live performance of her new single, "I LUV IT."

Backed up by several dancers, Cabello performed a high-energy rendition of the song, which is reported to be the lead single from her upcoming album. Del Rey accompanied her on the second verse, doing a subdued version of the choreography from a balcony.

"This is my girl. I have so much fun with her. I love this song to death," Del Rey said following the song, embracing Cabello. "Thank you so much angel for coming to sing with me."

Cabello thanked Del Rey, saying that joining one of her "favorite artists of all time" on stage was an "honor."

The song replaced "Video Games," which was performed during the first weekend as a duet with Billie Eilish. The pair also sang "Ocean Eyes," an early single by the "Happier Than Ever" singer.

Sporting an all-black ensemble, Del Rey was also joined by more collaborators during the second weekend of her headlining set. Jon Batiste appeared on stage to play piano while she showed off her pole-dancing skills. Jack Antonoff also came out to play piano for "hope is a dangerous thing for a woman like me to have - but I have it."

Coachella will return in 2025 on April 11 through 13 and then the following weekend, April 18 through 20. While no lineup has been announced, advance tickets will go on sale next Friday, May 3. A lineup will most likely be announced in early 2025.
