Happy Birthday Peter Framption and congratulations to your Rock & Roll Hall of Fame nomination!

Peter Frampton Age, Bio

Peter Frampton was born to Owen and Peggy Frampton in Beckenham, Kent, England, on April 22, 1950.

His father was the head of the art department and a teacher at Bromley Technical School, which he attended. At the age of seven, Frampton developed an interest in music after finding his grandmother's banjo ukulele in the attic. He proceeded to teach himself how to play it.

After a near-fatal vehicle accident, Frampton had to put his music career on hold for a while. Throughout the 1980s, he released a few records, the most notable of which were Breaking All The Rules (1981), The Art of Control (1982), and Premonition (1986).

The next year, he returned to the public eye and started touring with his longtime buddy David Bowie as a lead guitarist. He has continued to tour and release albums.

Peter Frampton Net Worth 2024

The English rock guitarist and artist Peter Frampton is worth $20 million USD, as reported by Celebrith Net Worth.

Although Peter Frampton started his career with the bands Humble Pie and The Herd, he is most known for his successful solo album Frampton Comes Alive! which, until 1998, was the best-selling live rock album of all time, selling more than16 million copies.

The album, featuring the hits "Show Me the Way," "Do You Feel Like I Do?" and "Baby I Love Your Way," topped the American charts. By the time the 1970s came to a conclusion, Frampton's fame had diminished.

Overwhelmed by Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Nomination

Although Frampton began his career as a musician in groups like Humble Pie and the Herd, his seminal 1976 live album Frampton Comes Alive is what made him most famous.

Peter Frampton is now set to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, joining the ranks of Mary J. Blige, Cher, Dave Matthews Band, Foreigner, Kool & The Gang, Ozzy Osbourne, and A Tribe Called Quest!

While his history leading to this recognition needs an explanation, he feels overwhelmed.
