Morgan Wallen is set to take the stage at Stagecoach as scheduled, despite the recent incident involving a chair-throwing altercation that led to his arrest.
Wallen's spokesperson officially announced to Radar Online that his headlining performance on Sunday will proceed as planned.
Among the esteemed country artists gracing the festival stage this year are Wallen, Eric Church, and Miranda Lambert.
His representative assured fans he will take the stage at Stagecoach.
The spokesperson's statement was made public on Monday via the outlet, "Yes, he will perform at Stagecoach."
Morgan Wallen Arrested
Following an incident on April 7, 2024, the "Whiskey Glasses" singer was taken into custody for throwing a chair off the top floor of Church's Nashville bar in the famous honky-tonk Broadway district.
Although the chair narrowly missed hitting anyone, it came to rest just a short distance from officers of the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department.
Subsequently, Wallen was apprehended and transported to the Davidson County jail.
After his apprehension shortly past midnight, Wallen faced charges including three felonies for reckless endangerment and one misdemeanor for disorderly conduct.
It wasn't long before he spoke out about the incident, sincerely apologizing to all those impacted by the situation, including the police responsible for his arrest.
The country star said on X, formerly Twitter, "I didn't feel right publicly checking in until I made amends with some folks. I've touched base with Nashville law enforcement, my family, and the good people at Chiefs. I'm not proud of my behavior, and I accept responsibility."
'Expected' Behavior
Wallen delighted his fans on a Saturday night at Ole Miss performing at the Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Oxford, Mississippi.
This event came two weeks following his arrest in Nashville and a year after he had to cancel a concert at the last minute.
"Honestly, I kind of expected it," remarked Katelyn, an Ole Miss student from New Orleans, when asked about Wallen's arrest, via FOX News.
In a lighthearted tone, Molly, an 18-year-old resident of Mississippi, quipped, "He just let that liquor talk, just like the song said," referring to "Last Night."
Another fan, Andi, observed, "I feel like it's just kind of his personality a little bit."
Priscilla, a loyal supporter from Memphis, remarked, "That's kind of Morgan Wallen behavior." Justin, another local from Memphis, chimed in, "He's a rebel."
