Beyoncé is gearing up for a surprise Cowboy Carter performance at Stagecoach this weekend - according to the Beyhive.

The "Texas Hold 'Em" singer's fanbase has speculated that she could be following up her iconic Coachella headlining performance from 2018 by taking over the California-based country music festival, set to take place this weekend.

Located at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, Calif., the festival is set to take place on April 26 through 28. Country artists like Miranda Lambert, Eric Church and the recently-arrested Morgan Wallen are all slated to perform.

Collaborators from Beyoncé's recent album are also going to hit the stage. Brittney Spencer, Tanner Adell, Willie Jones and Willie Nelson are all scheduled for performances. Plus, Post Malone, featuring on "Levii's Jeans," is going to be doing a special set of country music covers, Billboard reports.

While country fans are preparing to see their favorite performers live, one mysterious slot is occupying the minds of several members of the Beyhive: an artist named Backwoods Barbie.

The Stagecoach website links to each act's social media account. Backwoods Barbie's link leads to a new Instagram profile, @djbackwoodsbarbie, which currently only has around three thousand followers. The profile's 15 posts frequently reference Cowboy Carter, consistently sticking to parts of the album's general aesthetic and even including a photo collage of Queen Bey.

Little is known about the DJ, whose name references a classic Dolly Parton song. Many fans connected it to Beyonce, since Parton is heavily featured on Cowboy Carter. The BeyHive is now speculating that there is no DJ Backwoods Barbie afterall and it's all a setup for a surprise performance by the Grammy-winner.

The vaguely-suspicious artist listing feeds into previous speculation that Beyoncé has some top-secret performances planned. During Coachella, eagle-eyed fans noticed a Cowboy Carter banner flying over the festival during the first weekend. The second weekend saw a massive promotional trailer truck, sporting imagery from the album, rolling onto the desert grounds where the festival took place.

The recent proof that a performance is in the works has sent social media intro a frenzy, with the "16 Carriages" singer's fans worrying that they are about to miss the debut performance of the album era.

"Current Source of Stress: all these #COWBOYCARTER trucks have me thinking that Beyoncé is gonna do something major as a Stagecoach surprise - for a crowd that DOES NOT DESERVE HER," a concerned fan posted on X, formerly Twitter.

Other fans speculate that it may not be a full performance and more of a DJ set from the artist.

"Now they're saying Beyoncé is allegedly djing at stagecoach under the name DJ Backwoods Barbie and they found the ig and let's just say...WE ONTO YOU LADY," another member of the BeyHive posted.

All questions will be answered during DJ Backwoods Barbie's set on Saturday, April 27. The event will take place in Diplo's Honky Tonk at 7 p.m., a prime performance slot.
