Just in case Adam Lambert ever decides to step down as Queen’s current Freddie Mercury impersonator, Panic! At The Disco singer Brandon Urie has been auditioning for the role pretty thoroughly during his band’s recent tour. Yesterday, Panic! At The Disco shared a live video of their cover of Queen’s classic hit “Bohemian Rhapsody,” and though it’s not quite the real thing, they still do a pretty faithful rendition of the song.

The video was taken from Panic! At The Disco’s recent Gospel Tour, which began in July and wrapped up at the end of August. The Gospel Tour was one of three that Panic! At The Disco embarked on over the past year in support of their most recent album Too Weird To Live, Too Rare To Die!, which was released back in Oct. 2013. Too Weird To Live, Too Rare To Die! was Panic! At The Disco’s fourth album overall, and their second since the departure of guitarist/songwriter Ryan Ross and bassist Jon Walker in 2009.
At the end of the Gospel Tour, Brandon Urie took to Twitter to thank his fans. You can check out those tweets right here:
