In the weeks leading up to "Country Music’s Biggest Night" (the 48th Annual CMA Awards), PBS will be doing it up big. Starting on Tuesday, October 14, stations in the PBS family will be airing a special 10th Anniversary CMA Songwriters Series celebration. Led by CMA Award winner Dierks Bentley, the session will also feature Jim Beavers, Ross Copperman, Brett James, and Jon Randall.
Two weeks later, on October 28, and hour long Lady Antebellum concert special on "Front and Center" that was filmed in Nashville over the summer, will hit the PBS airwaves. The trio will be playing their classic hits as well as music from their fifth studio album, 747 in an intimate setting. Joined by songwriters Rodney Clawson, Tom Douglas, Josh Kear, Luke Laird, and Abe Stoklasa for some special collaborations, Lady A will also be sharing bits of pieces of their lives - stories from the road, personal tales of songwriting and the stories behind the music that has made them famous.
Fans of Dierks, LadyA and country music will find plenty to enjoy next month.
