A Gunna concert in Detroit turned into a safety hazard when excited fans caused the 100-year-old venue's balcony to wobble.
In a video posted by The Shade Room, the balcony is shown swaying and bouncing up and down as fans danced and rapped along to the viral hit, "f-kumean."
After seeing the harrowing video, Instagram users took the time to express their concerns about the not-so sturdy balcony. Commenters expressed their anxieties and nerves, with many saying that they would have moved away from beneath the swaying ledge if they had been in attendance.
"Thats scary actually. Thank god it didnt collapse," commented one viewer.
"And they saying the balcony is engineered to bounce...they a damn lie. Ain't no way they made a balcony in 1970 with hydraulics," wrote another Instagram user.
Another joked that the "lil ledge" hadn't been redone since "they shot my boy honest Abe Lincoln on it." President Lincoln was assassinated in Washington D.C., not Detroit.
One commenter referenced Travis Scott's Astroworld tragedy, saying that the event was "giving Astro World Catastrophe."
The venue released a statement in response to the concerning social media comment:
"The type of movement seen at the recent Fox Theatre concert is common and expected on free-standing balcony structures to support audience members actively dancing, as shown during last night's concert."
Gunna responded to the video with a simple comment of "Eyuhh #BitterSweetTour #Detroit" and a sweating, nervous emoji.
Gunna is currently wrestling with another problem: sudden beef with fellow Atlanta rapper Future. On May 8, Future tweeted "F-k yo album Sh- ain't slappin like my MIXTAPE," hinting at Gunna's upcoming album, One of Wun. Both rappers will release their respective projects tomorrow, May 10. "F-c What These boys talkin' bout," wrote Gunna in response to Future's subtweet.
Gunna and Future's feud comes as a surprise as the two have collaborated multiple times in the past on tracks like "Pushin' P," "Street Sweeper" and "Money Train."
Future can be partially credited for jumpstarting what Kanye West has called "the elimination of Drake." Future's collaborative album with Metro Boomin', WE DON'T TRUST YOU, features "Like That," which holds the Kendrick Lamar verse that started it all. Future himself has not made any comments about Drake since the song's release.
The brewing feud has excited some fans, and disappointed others.
"Drake and kendrick step aside future and gunna beef starts on friday," posted one user to X, quote tweeting an announcement about Future's upcoming mixtape.
"Gunna and future please this isn't you look at me," wrote another.
X user @gentlemenofkali declared that the Future and Gunna beef would lead to "more legendary music." Drake and Lamar's ongoing beef spiraled into seven diss tracks, with many of Lamar's being widely praised.
Gunna resumes the North American leg of his Bittersweet Tour tomorrow in Minneapolis, before continuing his trek across the United States, wrapping up in Atlanta in mid-June.
