Taylor Swift's reign at the Billboard 200 albums chart has continued as The Tortured Poets Department spends a third week at the top of the genre-blending chart.

Luminate reported through Billboard that the project had earned 282,000 equivalent album units in the United States. Streaming units comprised the bulk of the total numbers, with 229,500 or 298.33 million streams of the albums' songs. Traditional album sales are still high, with 51,000 units, while track units plummeted to 1,500.

Swift's third week at the top of the chart for The Tortured Poets Department widens the gap between her and Elvis Presley for having the most weeks spent at the summit among soloists. Swift has now spent 72 weeks atop, while Presley has only sent 67. However, Swift has to release many more albums or spend more time at the summit if she wants to surpass The Beatles in 132 weeks.

Swift has 14 No. 1 albums on the chart, with her last being 1989 (Taylor's Version), which was released in October 2023, then The Tortured Poets Department.

Meanwhile, Dua Lipa scored her highest debut on the Billboard 200 albums chart with her Radical Optimism. Although it raked in only 83,000 equivalent album units, it is the top-selling album of the week with 51,500 album sales of the 83,000 sum. Streaming comprised 30,500, while track units were only 1,000.

Swift kicked off the Europe leg of The Eras Tour in Nanterre, Paris, with a revamped setlist that included songs from The Tortured Poets Department.

Swift has included "But Daddy I Love Him," "So High School," "Who's Afraid of Little Old Me," "Down Bad," "Fortnight," "The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived" and "I Can Do It With a Broken Heart."

Us Weekly rreported that a concert promoter recommended incorporating the songs into the European leg of Taylor Swift's tour. In the hours leading up to the first show, keen-eyed Swifties noticed clues backstage hinting at new props being integrated into the performance. This suggested to fans that there would be exciting additions to the show's visuals and production.

In addition to adjusting the setlist, Swift has also made changes to her outfits for The Eras Tour. Fans speculated that these alterations were made to reduce the risk of wardrobe malfunctions during her high-energy performances. By updating her wardrobe, Swift ensured that her focus could remain on delivering an unforgettable show without any unnecessary distractions.
