Jennifer Lopez worked on the movie, "Kiss of the Spider Woman," before her 2024 tour.
Jennifer Lopez confirmed she reached her "fighting shape" after losing weight before her 2024 tour.
Following the release of Lopez's new film, documentary and album, she announced her fifth concert tour, This Is Me... Live, in support of her ninth studio album.
During her recent appearance on Live with Kelly and Mark, Lopez disclosed the changes in her physique that would help her in her upcoming shows after singing and dancing for her new movie, Kiss of the Spider Woman.
"Now, I'm ready to go. I'm the thinnest I've ever been," said Lopez after her "exhilarating and exhausting" filming.
Lopez worked on the musical film, an adaptation of the 1990s Broadway production. According to Variety, the "On the Floor" singer scored the role of the lead character, Aurora.
The 54-year-old matriarch also shared what she does to stay in shape during a tour.
"It's moving your body, constantly moving your body, it's traveling, it's doing two hours of exertion every night," she disclosed. "It's a time when I get, like, in a really good kind of healthy shape."
Lopez previously told Us Weekly that exercise is a "very important" part of her life when sharing her fitness regimen before her album release at the time.
"I'm always evolving and looking for things that keep me excited and motivated," Jennifer told the outlet. "I'm not afraid to challenge myself, so I'm open to pushing myself, which is what I'm doing right now as I rehearse for my new album, [This Is Me... Now], coming out this summer."
Despite having low ticket sales, Lopez informed Lara Spencer during her interview on the May 6 episode of Good Morning America how excited she felt before her "small tour."
The trek originally included over 30 cities, with her first stop on June 26 at Kia Center and her last show at Toyota Center in Houston, Tex., on August 31.
However, Ticketmaster updated the page and displayed the message, "Unfortunately, the Event Organizer has had to cancel your event. No action is required to obtain a refund," after the cancelation of at least seven shows in Cleveland, Nashville, Raleigh, Atlanta, Tampa, New Orleans and Houston.
Amid the theories, EW said the sudden changes were due to a "logistical issue through the promoter."
