As the couple were leaving the colorful art installation and museum, they were met with eager fans looking for autographs and selfies. Rihanna and Rocky stopped to sign photos, with both donning sunglasses. Rihanna, with blonde hair, wore a fluffy fur coat while Rocky sported a striped button up shirt. Fans excitedly shouted their names, swarming the musicians and trying desperately to get their attention. A video from a paparazzi named Cesar Pena captured the chaotic scene.
One fan, however, took it a bit too far -- at least according to Rocky. The man attempted to hand the "Don't Stop the Music" singer a white rose, saying "Rih, Happy Mother's Day, sweetheart."
Rocky was quick to step in, telling the man "Don't be romantic to my girl like that." He began to approach the fan, appearing to gear up for a fight.
"What's up?" he asked the man. A smile crossed the rapper's face shortly after as he joked "I'm just playing with you" while dapping the man up and giving him a hug.
"It's all love," said the fan.
"Yo, RZA is a beautiful kid. Riot...yo, God bless you bro," he continued. Rocky said thanked him as the two said "All love."
Rihanna did not react to the interaction between the men and continued to focus on her doting fans.
Rihanna and Rocky continued to sign autographs and give attention to the mass of fans as photographers snapped away. The high profile couple skipped out on last week's Met Gala as Rihanna had come down with the flu.
Prior to the trip to the Color Factory, Rocky took to Instagram to share photos and celebrate his son's birthday. "HAPPIEST BIRTHDAY 2 MY 1st BORN BABY BOY RZA," he wrote in the caption of a post, punctuating the message with a red heart emoji.
The carousel of photos featured Rihanna, Rocky, RZA and Riot, at home. The photo shoot is adorable, showing off the couple and their children. He also featured solo shots of RZA, including sweet videos of the little one. Another picture shows Rocky holding RZA with a smile.
Rocky previously defended Rihanna when a fight broke out while they were at a club.
"I got my lady in here. Y'all n---s calm that sh-- down, man," he said at the time. "Y'all act like gentlemen when y'all in our presence."
