Britney has had a checkered history with his family. Despite growing in the spotlight together, Britney and Jamie Lynn have had a strained relationship with one another.

The popstar wrote about her relationship with Jamie in her New York Times Best-Selling Memoir, The Woman In Me.

"My sister and I should have found comfort in each other, but unfortunately that hasn't been the case. As I was fighting the conservatorship and receiving a lot of press attention, she was writing a book capitalizing on it. She rushed out salacious stories about me, many of them hurtful and outrageous. I was really let down," she shared.

Meanwhile, Lynne was entangled in Britney's Chateau Marmont scandal when she blamed her mom for the drama that had ensued.

"I know my mom was involved !!! I haven't talked to her in 6 months and she called right after it happened before the news being out !!!" Britney claimed on Instagram. "I was set up just like she did way back when !!! I wish I had grandparents !!! I can't stand her !!! I honestly don't care I will say it!!"

Britney also took a shot on Jamie Spears, her father, after the conservatorship legal battle between them had been settled.

"My family hurt me!!! There has been no justice and probably never will be!!! The people who sat and did absolutely nothing when they did that for four months are smooth sailing!!!" Britney wrote in a now-deleted Instagram post. "The way I was brought up I was always taught the formative of right and wrong but the very two people who brought me up with that method hurt me !!! I am so lucky to be here!!!"
