Jennifer Lopez made a solo appearance without her husband Ben Affleck, sparking speculation about the couple's possible separation.

On May 15, the 54-year-old singer-actress was captured in a laid-back athletic attire while heading to a dance studio in Los Angeles with her entourage, in pictures obtained by CelebMafia.

Absent from the recent outing was her husband. It had been seven weeks since the couple were last spotted together, back in late March 2024 when they were spotted enjoying lunch in New York City.

Now, rumors broke that the couple faced insurmountable challenges and have decided to part ways, as their marriage of less than two years reaches its end.

According to a source interviewed by In Touch, Affleck has already relocated from their shared home.

"The writing is on the wall -- it's over. They're headed for a divorce -- and for once, [Affleck's] not to blame!"

The source also claimed that the Gone Girl actor has relocated from the lavish $60 million residence that he shared with Lopez.

On May 14, Lopez was sighted exploring potential new homes in the Beverly Hills area unaccompanied by Affleck.

The same insider revealed, "He's focusing on his work and his kids now."

"[Affleck] already moved out and they'll likely have to sell the dream house they spent two years searching for. They'll never stop loving each other, but she can't control him, and he can't change her. There's no way it could have lasted."

Observers have recently pointed out a decrease in the amount of time the couple are seen together, a stark contrast to the frequent joint appearances they made in the past.

Surprising many spectators, Affleck was noticeably absent from the Met Gala on May 6 despite Lopez's role as a co-chair. Their joint appearance at the star-studded event would have been highly anticipated.

The "Jenny From the Block" singer captivated the cameras on the red carpet flying solo, struggling to muster a smile on occasion.

Despite attributing his absence to working on a sequel to The Accountant, Affleck ultimately made the decision to end his marriage with Lopez, according to the first insider.

"Even the red carpet fashion commentators were confused, thinking [Affleck] would be right behind [Lopez] but nope, she went solo, which shocked a lot of people."

Lopez released her Amazon Prime documentary The Greatest Love Story Never Told in February. The documentary explored her romantic journey with Affleck, and the release appeared to impact their marital bond.

The same source revealed, "[Affleck] would never try to stifle [Lopez's] dreams or tell her she can't do something that advances her career, even though she can be quite controlling of him."

However, it's still best to take In Touch's report with a grain of salt.
