Taylor Swift sparked a debate that she was merely lip-syncing at her Eras Tour shows as a video of her latest performance surfaced.

After wrapping up the Asia and Australia legs of her The Eras Tour, Swift launched her shows in Paris before her stops at venues across North America. As the excitement among Swifties intensified, a video of the singer reignited the buzz online.

On X, a user uploaded a video of Swift performing in the French capital. The "So Long, London" singer was seen giving her all as she delivered her song, "I Can Do It With a Broken Heart," from her The Tortured Poets Department album.

"i don't mean this to be hateful but ...... we can all see she's lip syncing right ?" the user captioned the post.

Fans came to Swift's defense, noting that they could hear the singer's breaths in the video. However, others pointed out signs indicating that the "Lover" hitmaker was using backing vocals instead.

"48 songs, 4 nights in a row, im sure she lipsyncs some parts here and there otherwise her vocal chords [sic] will be fried within the next year," one wrote, while another added, "She sings so well that people think she's lip syncing."

It was not the first time Swift was accused of lip-syncing.

In another X post, a user asked what they noticed in the video of Swift's performance. At the time, people suggested she was not singing at the time.

Pro Football Hall of Famer and Fox NFL analyst Terry Bradshaw shared a similar comment in his interview on The Herd with Colin Cowherd, saying, "You cannot run around a stage and sing live [for three hours]...If I walk once all the way to the right side of the stage, I have to take a break."

Due to the speculations, some branded her the "world's highest-paid karaoke singer."

Amid the comments, Swift achieved another milestone as her latest single, "Fortnight," saw a remarkable 1,192 percent increase in sales count weeks after its release.

Additionally, the track secured the title of the best-selling song in the U.S. for the week, after initially debuting atop the Digital Song Sales and Hot 100 charts.

The news came after Forbes revealed that Swift will release another song soon.
