Cassie Ventura's husband, Alex Fine, blasted abusers in a lengthy post after Diddy's assault video has gone viral.
"Men who hit women aren't men. Men who enable it and protect those people aren't men. As men violence against women shouldn't be inevitable, check your brothers, your friends, and your family. Our daughters, sisters, mothers, and wives should feel protected and loved. Hold the women in your life with the upmost regard. Men who hurt women hate women," he wrote on Instagram.
Fine also implored abuse survivors to "find the men and women" who help and love them. He also affirmed survivors that their stories are "real" and that people "believe" them.
"To all the survivors you're not alone, and there are men and women who care only for your well being and safety. We want you to succeed and flourish. To all the women and children, I'm sorry you live in a world where you're not protected, and you don't feel equal. I want to raise my daughters in a world where they are safe and love," he added.
As for the abusers, Fine said that they're "done" and they're "not safe" anymore.
"You're not protected anymore, the men by your side are just as weak, you're so miserable with yourself that [death] would be considered a kindness," Fine concluded his statement.

Fine's social media post came hours after CNN released CCTV footage from the InterContinental Hotel in Century City, California, from an encounter they captured on March 5, 2016.
In the graphic video, Ventura was seen walking toward the elevator when she was chased down by Diddy, who was wearing only a bath towel. The rap mogul then grabbed his then-girlfriend by the neck and pushed her to the ground before kicking her.
Diddy then kicked Cassie again as she lay on the ground. He then proceeds to drag her by her clothes to their hotel room. When Cassie finally had the strength to stand up, Diddy shoved her. In another scene, Diddy sat on a chair, grabbed an object from a nearby table, and threw it to Cassie.
"The gut-wrenching video has only further confirmed the disturbing and predatory behavior of Mr. Combs. Words cannot express the courage and fortitude that Ms. Ventura has shown in coming forward to bring this to light," Ventura's lawyer, Douglas H. Wigdor, said in a statement to Music Times.
