Riley Keough has taken legal action against the disputed sale of her late grandfather Elvis Presley's Graceland property to prevent a foreclosure auction.

Reports indicate that a temporary restraining order paused the estate sale in Memphis, Tennessee, on Monday. This development comes mere days before the scheduled auction on Thursday, as revealed in documents from WREG.

The iconic home of the King of Rock and Roll is set to go up for auction to the highest bidder. The decision to sell the property arose due to purported financial challenges faced by the former owner, Lisa Marie Presley, who reportedly did not settle a $3.8 million loan from 2018.

A recent public announcement regarding the property's foreclosure revealed that Presley had purportedly entered into a deed of trust agreement with Naussany Investments and Private Lending, LLC, leveraging Graceland as collateral.

According to the lawsuit, "Lisa Marie Presley never borrowed money from Naussany Investments and never gave a deed of trust to Naussany Investments. These documents are fraudulent."

Keough's claims highlight that the mortgage lender did not officially file the alleged deed of trust at the Shelby County Register's Office. Furthermore, substantial concerns point towards the possibility of falsifying the documents.

Expanding on her position, the actress emphasizes that Kimberly Philbrick, the notary named in the deed, has never encountered Lisa Marie Presley or authenticated any paperwork on her behalf.

A hearing regarding an injunction is scheduled for Wednesday.

In January 2023, Presley passed away at the age of 54, and Keough assumed the position of Graceland's exclusive trustee. .

Keough's inheritance of the estate was disputed, as her grandmother, Priscilla Presley, raised doubts about the legitimacy of her daughter's will. The issue was resolved in May 2023, and following that, Keough agreed to compensate her grandmother with an amount exceeding $1 million and bear legal expenses of $400,000.

Elvis Presley, Lisa Marie Presley, and her son Benjamin Keough rest peacefully at Graceland. Vernon and Gladys Presley, Elvis's parents, are joining them in eternal rest. Reports suggest that when Priscilla passes away, she will be laid to rest beside the "Can't Help But Falling In Love" crooner as well, a request that was initially rejected.
