Lady Gaga's unreleased song "Brooklyn Nights" is finally being recognized by the public. Several fans shared the track on social media, and the pop star acknowledged it.
A fan shared the unofficial lyric video of the song on TikTok, which featured the bridge part. In the clip, the fan wrote, "Brooklyn Nights are finally being discovered."
The post was initially shared in March, but Lady Gaga left a comment in early May and finally acknowledged the track despite not being officially released.
Mother Monster simply wrote, "This song has a special place in my heart."
The song was supposed to be a part of the singer's fourth studio album, ARTPOP, and she revealed its title on Twitter in September 2013. However, fans were confused as it didn't make the final cut.
During a previous Q&A on social media, Gaga confirmed that her other song, "Mary Jane Holland," was competing with "Brooklyn Nights" to become the album's number 12 song on the tracklist. Still, she ultimately chose the former as she wanted to work on the unreleased song more.
She later revealed that it would be available as a bonus song on her ARTPOP app, but it never got released.
Gaga performed the song as an acapella at the artRAVE: The ARTPOP Ball in Melbourne, Australia, in 2024.
In other updates about Lady Gaga, the singer is set to release an HBO concert special based on her Chromatica Ball tour.
According to Variety, the upcoming concert movie was filmed during her sold-out show at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles in 2022.
Fans should expect the musician to feature her live performances of "Rain On Me," "Enigma," "Stupid Love," and other tracks from her previous eras, such as "Shallow," "Poker Face," "Bad Romance," and more.
Gaga shared the official trailer on Instagram earlier this month, writing in the caption, "I'm so excited that we can finally share The Chromatica Ball film with the world."
The "1000 Doves" singer added that revisiting the tour left her speechless, as her fans showed up in big numbers for music and art, and it is something that she will never forget.
"Chromatica was colorful revenge. The chaos of it all became pure energy and life. With a texture best experienced live," she said of her era.
