The View host Sunny Hostin expressed her utmost support to Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck amid rumors of their marital dispute and divorce.
In a recent episode of The View, Hostin declared that Lopez and Affleck are "true love."
"The media just seems to be wanting to take down relationships so much and in fact the people that are involved in the relationships like Jennifer Garner, who is Ben's ex, is trying to help them stay together because we need true love. The world is burning to the ground. Our democracy is at it's precipice," Hostin said, as quoted by The Mirror.
This wasn't the first time Hostin had supported the two. When Joy Behar first discussed the topic on the show, Hostin gave her take on the ongoing rumors.
"You know what? This is how I feel: They are in love... I just know it... They love each other stop hating on true love because maybe you don't have it in your life!" she added.
Meanwhile, on social media, The View fans did not agree with the renowned host.
"The [world] will not come to an END if #Bennifer breaks up!! Nobody cared about them then & nobody cares about them now," a fan expressed on X, formerly Twitter, tagging Hostin's account.
People echoed the user's sentiments, with one saying, "Facts I could care less either way. I knew they wouldn't last from the moment they got married."
"You're right. I saw this coming. I could only watch 5 minutes of her movie and know this was coming," another commented.
"Ben has appeared to be extremely miserable for months every time he is with Jennifer Lopez. Sunny should take note and quit assuming everything is peachy between them," another commented.
A People magazine source revealed that Affleck and Lopez's marriage is "not in the best place" at the moment. The insider concluded "I don't know if they will split, or if this is something they will work through," the film source said, noting that although they have problems, their deep connection runs back two decades.
