Justin Bieber and his wife, Hailey, are eagerly anticipating the arrival of their first child. Recently, fans have been speculating about the baby's name, sparking a peculiar conspiracy theory.
On social media, both enthusiasts and provocateurs have proposed the name "Emory Bieber," coincidentally the same name Selena Gomez once expressed admiration for during an event in 2010.
Gomez openly shared her fondness for the unique name, stating, "I've had these names picked out for a while," to her audience.
"I like Emory. Which is E-M-O-R-Y. Insert my husband's last name,' she said at the time, before adding, "Yeah, Emory Bieber."
Now, fans on social media have unearthed the interview and are encouraging Hailey to consider using the name for her child with Bieber, either just for laughs, or just to show she is truly "savage," as reported by Daily Mail UK.

The suggestions incited anger from one devoted Selena fan, who took to X to criticize Hailey, fearing she might indeed use the name. They said if she dared do that, she's done for. They cautioned her to avoid this one name.
Earlier this month, Hailey announced her pregnancy, revealing her baby bump during a surprise vow renewal with Bieber in Hawaii.
She joyfully announced her pregnancy with a stunning video showcasing her bump.
During their outdoor ceremony, the star and the Canadian crooner, who recently stirred concern with a crying selfie, shared a tender kiss to mark the occasion, with Hailey flaunting a new diamond ring.
Meanwhile, shortly after Justin and Hailey Bieber shared their pregnancy news, the "Love You Like a Love Song" singer posted a charming photo of herself with boyfriend Benny Blanco.
Selena, shared a black and white snapshot of her and Blanco, 36, holding hands on her Instagram Stories on Thursday, May 9th.
Alongside it, the makeup mogul included another picture with her arm around Blanco's shoulders, posing with some of her "Only Murders in the Building" costars, such as Martin Short and Steve Martin.
It's not clear if she's a direct response to the pregnancy news, but it helped made clear to her fans that she's doing okay.
Justin and Gomez had an on-and-off relationship from 2010 to 2018.
After their final split, Justin quickly shifted his focus to Hailey Baldwin, eventually marrying her also in 2018.
