Celine Dion's emotional turmoil was displayed in the trailer of her new documentary as she detailed her only wish amid her health struggles.

On June 25, Prime Video will add Dion's new documentary, I Am: Celine Dion, to its catalog and share the singer's life story with her fans.

Prime Video released the first-ever trailer for the documentary, which was directed by Academy Award nominee Irene Taylor, on its YouTube channel.

"I AM: CELINE DION gives us a raw and honest behind-the-scenes look at the iconic superstar's struggle with a life-altering illness. Serving as a love letter to her fans, this inspirational documentary highlights the music that has guided her life while also showcasing the resilience of the human spirit," the description read.

In the trailer, the 56-year-old "My Heart Will Go On" singer tearfully opened up about her desire to return to the stage amid her stiff-person syndrome battle.

"It's not hard to do a show, you know. It's hard to cancel a show," she said while getting emotional. "I'm working hard everyday. But I have to admit, it's been a struggle. I miss it so much. The people, I miss them. If I can't run, I'll walk. If I can't walk, I'll crawl. I won't stop."

She was forced to cancel the remainder of her tour due to her then-undiagnosed severe, persistent muscle spasms. Dion revealed her health battle for the first time in an emotional Instagram video in December 2022.

According to Yale Medicine, the condition causes a person's muscles in the limbs and torso to suffer spasms and rigidity. The spasms can be triggered by loud noises, emotional distress, and other certain stimuli, but they can also happen randomly. Unfortunately, the cause of the rare disease remains unknown.

The "To Love You More" singer recently shared how she copes with the symptoms, including a five-day athletic, physical and vocal therapy per week. She admitted to questioning herself after her diagnosis, but she has reportedly made peace with her illness afterward.

Before her stiff-person syndrome diagnosis, Dion faced different health issues, including a patulous eustachian tube dysfunction that led her to undergo ear surgery.

I Am: Celine Dion is produced by Stacy Lorts, Tom Mackay, Julie Begey Seureau and Irene Taylor and presented by Amazon MGM Studios.
