As the reported troubles in Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck's marriage persist, the actor's pal spoke up and supported the Bennifer ship.
Affleck's friend Jason Mewes recently set the record straight about the "Justice League" actor's marriage to Lopez and shared whether he thinks the pair will soon divorce.
"I would be shocked," Mewes told TMZ regarding Bennifer's potential divorce. Still, he shared how the pair might also work hard to save their relationship. "I'm being sappy. When you were there watching their interactions, the singing - she sang to him - it just seemed after 20 years and them and everything that's going on, [their relationship seems] very sincere and real."
Mewes told the photographer he had not been in touch with Affleck, so he reportedly had no idea what was happening between the actor and his wife.
Neither Lopez nor Affleck has spoken out about the buzz.

The rumors started as Lopez and Affleck were not seen together for 47 days. The "Good Will Hunting" star also did not attend the premiere of his wife's film, Atlas, at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood, Calif., on May 20.
However, they were seen together for the first time in nearly two months on May 16. They also marked another outing on May 19 when they rode in a car together and drove in the West Hollywood area of Los Angeles.
Several sources said Affleck and Lopez are living separately despite both of them being in Los Angeles. They also did not celebrate Mother's Day together.
"They just have very different approaches when it comes to media attention," one insider told People. "Ben hates all attention and it makes him very uncomfortable. Jennifer has always had a different approach."
Another insider in the film industry shared that Affleck does not like to share his life with the public despite feeling impressed by his wife's work ethic and success.
"Even though he admires that about her, it doesn't make him happy and causes stress in his life and then in hers. There is no question their different styles clash," the source continued. "[Lopez] needs that expression but Affleck simply is not comfortable with it."
Their fallout allegedly started following the release of Lopez's documentary, which put a spotlight on their private lives again.
