Nicki Minaj was set to perform in the United Kingdom as part of her Pink Friday 2 World Tour, a series of concerts in the country and Europe, but it was canceled at the last minute after the rapper was arrested in Amsterdam.

According to BBC, the musician was arrested at Schipol Airport on suspicion of exporting soft drugs. She was about to fly to Manchester for a concert over the weekend, but it was canceled due to her run-in with the law.

The "Everybody" songstress took to Instagram to film her arrest, which her fans later re-posted on other social media platforms.

In the live video, an Amsterdam official could be heard saying that he wanted to take the rapper into custody for "carrying drugs" even though she had already defended herself and declined that she had contrabands.

"I'm not going in there. I need a lawyer present," she said, later asking, "Oh, so I'm under arrest?" to which the official replied with, "Yes," without other explanation.

Minaj ended the video by getting out of the vehicle.

The rapper gave fans an insight into her arrest as she explained on X that the officials found weed and that another group of people had to come to the city to weigh the "pre-rolls."

"Keep in mind they took my bags without consent. My security has already advised them those pre-rolls belong to him. Oh yea & the pilot wants me to take my ig post down," she added.

Minaj also took to Instagram to share the video of the encounter, and in the caption, she alleged that "they've been" attempting to stop her from coming to her shows.

"This is what it looks like when ppl are paid big money to try to sabotage a tour after all else failed. Everything they've done is illegal," she added.

The rapper didn't expressly state which people are trying to sabotage her.

Hours after the arrest, NBC News reported that authorities had released the musician. She was only fined and allowed to "continue her journey."

Since her concert had already been canceled, organizers from Co-op Live handed out cards to fans outside of the venue where Minaj was supposed to perform. The cards stated that fans should head over to their social media accounts within the next few days to get more information regarding rescheduled dates and refunds.
