The Sun reported that Taylor Swift allegedly spent $4.3 million on hair, costume, makeup, styling, and wages for her backup band for The Eras Tour.

Consultants for The Eras Tour told the outlet that the whopping sum would cover the ground for Swift's historic The Eras Tour.

"We are like an army," the consultant told the outlet. "But everyone involved loves this kind of challenge."

According to the consultant, they are being challenged on every location stop because of several factors.

"With such long shows and changes in temperature and humidity, we are always having to adapt," the source confirmed.

For The Eras Tour Europe alone, Swift had employed 10 makeup artists, who collectively earn around $65,000 for three months' work.

Additionally, Swift's 15 backup dancers take up a huge chunk of the budget as they wear 10 different costumes each night. With each costume costing $1,500, the total comes up at $225,000.

"The fans also come to the concerts for the costumes, and the styles, but we often have to adjust and fix outfits," the insider shared their glaring wardrobe problems. "Because of the intensity of the dance movements, holes sometimes appear."

Unbeknownst to many, Swift's costumes for The Eras Tour were designer-made. Her Versace costume is valued at $50,000, three Roberto Cavalli costumes are at $255,000, and her Oscar de la Renta dress costs $140,000. Swift's team allocated a $1.3 million budget for her wardrobe alone, excluding her $1.2 million jewelry budget.

Swift's two makeup artists cost $3000 per show, and the budget for her makeup, including the products, is around $153,000. Her shoes, mostly Louboutins, for the tour are priced at $195,000, while her hair styling costs per show are around $3,000.

"Taylor has great taste, she is always giving us feedback and the teamwork is very beneficial" the source added. "The outfits are marvelous, and they really fit her personality, her image and her art."

Lastly, Swift's backup band, including backup vocalists, is also included in the budget. Their 10 different outfits per night cost $1,000 each, and they're given $60,000 for their own styling and makeup - costing her $750,000 to keep them on the road throughout the trek.

"The budget is huge, as the show and the outfits, wardrobe and styles for this tour have been prepared and programmed to be a whole 'tribute' to her career so far. It's a very exciting and intense experience, but the people working the shows are the best in the world," the source said. "There's a lot of moving parts between concerts, but the coordination and flow has been perfect. Everyone is very happy, and it's probably the best experience of my career."
