North West made her acting debut as Young Simba during The Lion King's 30th Anniversary concert on Friday, captivating the audience with her rendition of "I Just Can't Wait To Be King" at The Hollywood Bowl.
Her parents, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, and other members of the family, proudly looked on as she took to the stage.
In the end, the 10-year-old eldest child of the reality star, aged 43, and the controversial rapper, aged 46, received a standing ovation on Friday evening for her performance at the star-studded "Disney's The Lion King 30th Anniversary: A Live-to-Film Concert Event," as reported by TMZ and evidenced by videos circulating on social media.
But despite the applause and standing ovation North received, some individuals on social media platforms, including X (formerly known as Twitter), expressed criticism regarding her opportunity, citing what they perceived as her nepotistic advantage.

Given the fact that her parents are very famous, the comments did not come off as shocking. But still, given how the target is a mere 10-years-old, it was heartbreaking.
The comments ranged from sarcastic remarks such as "nepotism is literally the best thing to be born with" into full-own criticism like, "the worst case of nepo I have witnessed," as reported by Daily Mail UK.
The validity of such comments hinges on whether North West underwent an audition process for the role, a detail that remains unclear. A spokesperson is yet to give any clarification on this matter.
Announced earlier this month, North's participation in the live-to-film concert event spanned two nights on May 24 and May 25.
Notably, The Hollywood Bowl, with its capacity of up to 17,500 people, hosted the event, with ticket prices starting at $60.
North shared the stage with an array of stars, including Jennifer Hudson, Billy Eichner, Bradley Gibson, Ernie Sabella, Jason Weaver, Jeremy Irons, and Nathan Lane.
In attendance to support North were her father, Kanye West, alongside Kris Jenner, Kourtney Kardashian, and her husband, Travis Barker.
Kim was present backstage, capturing moments from North's dressing room and sharing them on her Instagram Stories.
Among the snapshots were images of their all-access passes and character-inspired cupcakes. Kim expressed gratitude to Kris and grandmother Mary Jo 'MJ' Campbell for sending flowers, showcasing the vibrant arrangements in a video.
Later, Kim uploaded a clip of herself enjoying the concert with her six-year-old daughter, Chicago, nestled on her lap. The mother-daughter duo cherished backstage moments, with North sweetly combing her younger sister's hair.
