Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck's Divorce Could Happen Due to Their 'Gigantic Egos and Sharp Opinions'

More sources came forward to share what possibly caused Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck's marital problems.

From too much spotlight to their different approach to fame, potential reasons behind Lopez and Affleck's rumored split have emerged over the past weeks. Another source recently claimed that the pair's strong personalities caused their marital issues.

"Even when things are quote-unquote 'good' between Ben and Jennifer, their gigantic egos and sharp opinions mean there's going to be some fighting and arguing," an insider told Star.

Lopez and Affleck's marriage was bombarded with rumors after the pair had not been seen together for over a month. Reports also confirmed they began to live apart despite both staying in Los Angeles.

Another insider claimed, "Jen and Ben are having issues in their marriage. They started having issues a few months ago as Jen had started ramping up work commitments and prepping for her tour. Jen is very focused on work."

The same source disclosed to the magazine that Lopez and Affleck also failed to get enough time together and stay on the same page due to their work commitments.

Meanwhile, the "Justice League" actor's ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, reportedly encouraged him to work on his marriage to Lopez as she would like to see him happy since she understands how media attention can affect one's union.

While neither Lopez nor Affleck has spoken about the issues, Perez Hilton made a shocking claim on Kinsey Schofield's "Unfiltered" podcast about how the "On the Floor" singer and her husband could confirm their divorce after wrapping her This Is Me... Live 2024 Tour.

"She's going on the road in a little bit and that also has been met with a lot of negative headlines about poor ticket sales and many shows were canceled," said Hilton. "[Affleck] is just being a supportive love by trying to stall the news as much as possible until her tour is over."

On the other hand, Affleck's friend Jason Mewes told TMZ that he would be shocked if Bennifer divorced. However, he still assured the public about the pair's efforts to save their "sincere and real" relationship.

Lopez and Affleck were seen again together on May 16 and May 19, but the outings did not stop the buzz from emerging.
