Casandra "Cassie" Ventura, known for her skills in singing, dancing, acting, and modeling, found herself entangled in a well-documented rollercoaster romance with Sean "Diddy" Combs that spanned from 2007 to 2018.

In March 2024, Homeland Security raided Combs' two properties, again highlighting the scrutiny surrounding his dubious connection with Ventura.

In 2016, Ventura played a leading role in The Perfect Match, a romantic comedy in which she starred alongside Terrence J.

The "Me & U" singer revealed that her then-boyfriend had to check with Combs before they started to film sex scenes for the movie.

Ventura said of Combs, "He actually really trusted the situation."

"He and Terrence spoke beforehand. Terrence was a bit nervous. I told [Combs] about it, and he said, 'Have him give me a call. So, he FaceTimed, and they had their man talk, and he said, 'Make it believable. You guys this is gonna be a great movie for you."

Ventura added, "He's proud of us, at the end of the day."

Amid Ventura's detailed explanation, one of the reporters broke in to inquire about her past relationship with Combs.

She explained, "I typically don't talk about my private life," as she acknowledged their romance.

This comes after an old CCTV footage of Combs physically assaulting Ventura has gone viral.

Ventura initially brought forward accusations against Combs in a lawsuit that has since been resolved early this year, where she accused the music industry figure of subjecting her to rape and sex trafficking during a tumultuous decade.

In her first public statement since the emergence of a 2016 video depicting her experiencing physical abuse at the hands of her ex-partner, Ventura has decided to speak up.

Ventura expressed her thanks "for all of the love and support from my family, friends, strangers and those I have yet to meet."

"The outpouring of love has created a place for my younger self to settle and feel safe now."

"But this is only the beginning. Domestic Violence is THE issue. It broke me down to someone I never thought I would become. With a lot of hard work, I am better today, but I will always be recovering from the past."

"This healing journey is never-ending, but this support means everything to me."

Later on, Combs steadfastly refuted the accusations, which his legal representative deemed "offensive and outrageous."

He even wrote in a statement in December 2023, months before their settlement, "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. For the last couple of weeks, I have sat silently and watched people try to assassinate my character, destroy my reputation and my legacy."

"Sickening allegations have been made against me by individuals looking for a quick payday."
