Taylor Swift's most recent album, The Tortured Poets Department, continues to dominate the Billboard 200 chart for another consecutive week, maintaining its stronghold as the most popular album in the United States for the fourth time.

Alongside ten other titles, Swift's album is making waves on the Billboard 200 this week, with all but a couple gaining momentum. However, one of her older albums takes a slight dip in the current chart standings, moving down eight positions to land at No. 160.

This marks a departure from the usual trend of her albums either maintaining their position or climbing higher on the charts.

Forbes reported that Swift's album 1989 is experiencing downward shift on the Billboard 200 chart. Despite its decreasing position, this Grammy-winning album, which was released in 2014, is seeing a rise in overall consumption, with Luminate reporting a modest 0.2% increase in total engagement with both the album itself and its accompanying music.

The intense competition on the Billboard 200 has caused 1989 to regress slightly, even with a slight uptick in popularity.

While"1989 may not have seen a significant increase, the newly recorded version of the album, 1989 (Taylor's Version), is gaining traction. Climbing from the 24th to the 18th spot this week, the album has steadily risen, featuring reimagined tracks from the original album and previously unreleased songs, garnering an additional 9,189 equivalent units during the recent tracking period.

Rumors swirled about Swift's dating life while crafting 1989, with speculation about inspirations from her relationships with Harry Styles and Connor Kennedy.

Despite public displays of affection, details about these relationships remain scarce. While Swift's 1989 album is currently not doing good on the charts, among her discography, it remains unparalleled in terms of sales. The album has reached a global sales figure exceeding 14,332,116 copies, according to AS.

This week on the Billboard 200, Taylor Swift's track "Fearless (Taylor's Version)" shows a remarkable surge in performance, rising an impressive 21 spots to claim the 125th position.

Luminate recorded a surge in sales, with a total of 10,521 equivalent units sold, marking a notable increase of over 13% compared to the previous period.
