Taylor Swift's affordable fashion sense might surprise you.
Recently-surfaced footage of the star rehearsing for her Eras Tour concerts shocked fans when they found out she had a shockingly cheap budget for while is practicing.
While she prepared for the European debut of the blockbuster tour, Swift sported New Balance 1906R Sneakers, which can be purchased for just $154.99. The pair she can be seen rehearsing in throughout the video is now out of stock, since it had been a limited edition collaboration with Ganni, Page Six reports.
Even though Swifites will not be able to purchase the "Fortnight" singer's exact look, they can still buy some kicks that fit in with her most recent era. A nearly-identical pair is still available, featuring lines of white, gold, soft gray and black that look straight out of The Tortured Poets Department's album photoshoot. Other pairs that are all gray and all black look like they most certainly would be approved by the Grammy-winner, as well.
Fans wishing to represent each era while attending the concert tour would also have some luck shopping at New Balance with their wide variety of offerings. Whether it be Lover pink, 1989 blue, Fearless gold, or Red, New Balance is seemingly a solid source for footwear. Since the "Bejeweled" singer's concerts generally tend to be upwards of three hours, some comfortable shoes would definitely be a wise move on the part of many Swifties.
The "Karma" performer seems to be a devoted customer to the brand after stepping out at her first-ever Chiefs game wearing the shoes last year. In September, Swift wore a $150 pair of 550 sneakers to Arrowhead Stadium when she first confirmed her romance with Travis Kelce. She even found a way to represent the team's signature colors, with the shoes being red, black and white.
Although Swift's taste in shoes might be cheap, the rest of her Eras Tour looks do not come easily. Consultants for the tour have recently revealed that she spends $4.3 million on hair, costume, makeup, styling, and other wages for the Eras Tour.
"We are like an army," the consultant who works on the show stated. "But everyone involved loves this kind of challenge ... With such long shows and changes in temperature and humidity, we are always having to adapt."
The concert is the "largest and most expensive tour" to ever hit Europe, much of which is coming from the millions of dollars that the costumes for Swift and her dancers cost. Her backup dancers even have several of their own costumes, which comes in at about $225,000 collectively.
"The fans also come to the concerts for the costumes, and the styles, but we often have to adjust and fix outfits," an insider continued to say. "Because of the intensity of the dance movements, holes sometimes appear."
After a new costume was recently added to the massive production, Swift faced a wardrobe malfunction at a recent show. The mishap led to her flashing her bra to the audience while a stagehand ran up on stage to fix her in-ear monitor.
