Neil Young & Crazy Horse postponed two more shows over the weekend in Texas due to an unspecified illness.
The band postponed their concerts Sunday (May 26) at Germania Insurance Amphitheater in Austin, Texas, and Monday (May 27) at the Dos Equis Pavilion in Dallas. Both shows will be rescheduled, according to a note on Young's official website.
Those cancelations came after Young & Crazy Horse postponed their May 25 show at the Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island in Chicago, also due to an unspecified illness.
It's unclear who in the band is suffering from an illness and the nature of the sickness.
Young & Crazy Horse are now scheduled to take a break until July 8 when it is set to restart the tour in Young's hometown of Toronto. The tour is scheduled to conclude Sept. 29 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.
The band was originally set to play the two Texas dates in early May but had to postpone them then due to severe weather.
At the time, the band posted a note on their website that read, "Too dangerous for us to put our audience in that situation. We are rolling on, with these shows coming back in September on our way to Farm Aid. We are headed to New Orleans now. Would have loved to play Texas - Austin and Dallas, but too unsafe at the moment. Sitting in the parking lots, lightning flashing in the sky. Movin' On."
The 78-year-old Young and the current lineup of Crazy Horse -- drummer Ralph Molina, bassist Billy Talbot, who are both 80, and new guitarist Micah Nelson -- began the tour April 24 in San Diego. Nelson, the 33-year-old son of Willie Nelson, is filling in for Nils Lofgren, who is busy touring with Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band.
Just before the start of the tour, Young and Crazy Horse released the new album FU##IN' UP on April 20 and have a compilation of vintage material, Early Daze, on tap for June 28.
