Eminem has teamed up with none other than acclaimed magician David Blaine to announce a new single, "Houdini."
In a clip posted to social media, Eminem rings up Blaine who answers, asking "Hey, what's going on, Marshall?"
"I need your help with something!" says Em.
"Yeah, whatever you need," says Blaine.
Eminem first took a minute to pause and tell Blaine that the magician is "the greatest to ever do it."
"We should do something together one time," says Blaine. Em returns to the questions, asking: "So, what I was wondering, how far can we go with this magic? Like, can we do, like, a stunt or something?"
"You mean something like this?" replies Blaine before making a shocking move. Blaine enters what appears to be a restaurant, walks up to a glass filled with red wine, swigs the alcohol down and then bites into the glass itself to the shocked reactions of people nearby.
"Well, for my last trick, I'm gonna make my career disappear," declares Em before hanging up. Blaine spits out a few pieces of glass, asking "What?"
Text reading "Houdini" and "5.31.24" appears after, announcing Eminem's newest track. "Houdini" will be the lead single off of the rapper's upcoming LP, The Death Of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce.) It will be his 12th studio album.
The roll out process for "Houdini" began when Eminem took to Instagram to post a cryptic screenshot of a text from "All Contacts" that reads, "For my last trick..."
Some netizens took this to mean that Eminem had a collaboration with Halsey in the works. The "Now or Never" singer has been posting to a website titled "formylasttrick.com," leading people to believe that Em's text was a reference to the site. Mentions of Detroit on formylasttrick.com also spurred on rumors; others pointed to the fact both Eminem and Halsey have widely popular songs named "Without Me."
"Eminem teases new music with Halsey's website name for her new era...Collab maybe?" wrote X user, @TheHalseyRoom, the "go-to source for updates, news and chart positions of the singer-songwriter @halsey."

Eminem dropped hints of The Death Of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce) earlier this month when an obituary for Slim Shady appeared in his hometown paper, The Detroit Free Press.
"May he truly find the peace in an afterlife that he could not find on Earth," concludes the obituary, which also describes Slim Shady as a "rogue splinter in the flourishing underground rap scene of the mid to late 1990s" before he was catapulted into being a household name in 1999.
In April, Eminem also shared a clip from a fake television show, Detroit Murder Files, which promises to "recreate the events that led to the murder of Slim Shady" as a means of "investigating" the rapper's "death."
