Ben Affleck Already 'Checked Out' From Jennifer Lopez as Second Wedding Anniversary Nears

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck's marriage issues look more serious than ever.

Their names have appeared in headlines many times over the past few weeks as split and divorce rumors have enveloped their marriage. While the pair chose not to comment on any of the reports, a new source came forward to share more bombshell details about the relationship.

The insider told Us Weekly that Lopez and Affleck are taking some time to determine what they want to happen amid the buzz.

According to the source, the issues started a few months ago, when Affleck made it clear that he did not approve of his wife's lifestyle and has been feeling tired of what they have.

"Jennifer had started ramping up her work commitments and prepping for her tour. She's very focused on work and overextends herself," the insider said, adding, "He's been checked out. [They] are on two completely different pages most of the time. The honeymoon phase has worn off."

This somewhat contradicted an insider's statement to In Touch, claiming that Lopez and Affleck's split "is getting nasty" and that the "On the Floor" singer "isn't wasting any time moving on from Ben."

"She went to the Met Gala alone, she went out to dinner on Mother's Day without him, and now she's looking for a new home for herself after they had spent months searching for their dream home. And with a combined net worth of $550 million, the divorce is only going to get nastier," the other insider said.

The "Justice League" actor has been vocal about his desire to have a more private relationship with Lopez after their first engagement failed two decades ago due to extreme media attention.

Even in Lopez's documentary, The Greatest Love Story Never Told, Affleck revealed what he told Lopez when they got back together: he would like to have a relationship outside of social media.

"Then I sort of realized it's not a fair thing to ask. It's sort of like, you're gonna marry a boat captain, and you go, 'Well, I don't like the water,'" he said. "[We are] two people with different kinds of approaches trying to learn to compromise."

Affleck and Lopez will mark their second year of marriage on August 20.
