Heart announced Wednesday (May 29) that it's cancelling its European dates with Squeeze because singer Ann Wilson must undergo a medical procedure and needs time to recover.

"We regret to inform you that all upcoming Heart performances in Europe are canceled," reads a message shared on the band's social media accounts. "In late May, Ann Wilson will undergo a time-sensitive but routine medical procedure for which the minimum recovery time is six weeks."

It's unclear what medical procedure Ann Wilson will undergo.

The message goes on to say, "Heart deeply regrets this unfortunate circumstance and hopes to return to Europe soon. Refunds will be available at point of purchase as applicable."

On her personal Facebook account, Ann Wilson added the message, "I'm okay! Please don't worry. I do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. It's certainly an inconvenience for me. Love & respect always, Ann."

Fans responded to the news with sympathy and get-well wishes. One fan posted, "I just saw them in Louisville and she was seated for some of the show due to a knee replacement. Not sure if that's the issue or not. They were Amazing regardless!"

Ann and Nancy Wilson reformed Heart in late 2023 after resolving a family feud that began in 2016, after Ann's husband Dean Wetter was arrested for assaulting Nancy's 16-year-old twin sons.

In April, the band launched its Royal Flush U.S. tour, with openers Cheap Trick. In between the U.S. dates, the band was originally set to head to Europe for a series of shows with Squeeze and some festival dates between June 20 and July 12.

Now the next show on their itinerary is July 30 at Progressive Field in Cleveland with Def Leppard and Journey. Heart has dates booked through Dec. 15, at the Fontainebleau in Las Vegas.
