Michael Jackson fans are worrying why there are plenty of leaked photos of the upcoming Michael biopic online. The chatter came about after Jafaar Jackson's photos of being in his "Thriller" costume went viral.
In leaked photos circulating on social media, Jaafar is deep in a zombie outfit behind the scenes from the upcoming musical biopic shot.
In the stills and videos, Jafaar wears his uncle's iconic costume for the "Thriller" music video. From a bird' s-eye view, Jafaar looks eerily similar in stature and appearance to his late uncle, Michael.
Many question why these stills and videos are easily and frequently leaked online.
"These got leaked on purpose, I'm sure. Or they were fully expecting and welcomed leaks for this shoot. Very smart. What we've seen so far feels very curated and purposeful," an internet sleuth explained. "The first thing we saw was jafaar in a post -Thriller era pic to squash any questioning that they could handle the look in a believable way with vitiligo (and it won't be a Flex Alexander repeat)."
According to the netizen's theory, the stills being leaked were mostly scenes of Michael interacting with the public, but the private scenes were not revealed yet.
"All of the recent public sets seemed purposely reserved for more iconic MJ scenes, like Thriller, like mj surrounded by fans in his prime, that kind of thing. Easy promotion fodder. Probably stuff that will be in the teaser," they elaborated.
Still, there are as many fans just happy to see these photos and have raved about them.
"This looks AMAZING!! 10/10 Jaafar is taking it," a fan said on Reddit.
"Looks promising," one commented.
Many fans are excited about the upcoming adaptation, and some have surely bigger hopes that Jafaar will deliver well.
"Still feel like with all the money in the world put some effort into this biopic. Jaafar better do a good job," one noted online.

According to producer Graham King, the upcoming biopic will feature Jackson's public performances and offer a sneak peek of his private life.

"When you mention his name, everyone has an opinion... Generations of moviegoers will come together to experience an inside look into one of the most prolific artists that ever lived."
