Jennifer Lopez was disappointed when her tour got canceled, and it was reportedly after her team had urged her to do so.

Despite feeling "heartsickness" from the decision, a source revealed that she felt relieved after doing so.

The "Get Right" singer initially had reservations about changing her tour schedule but recognized the overwhelming complexities of her current life.

According to a source who spoke to People magazine, "Life is a lot right now. As sad as she was to cancel the tour, she's also relieved. She needs to take care of herself."

They added, "The decision was something that her team encouraged. Everyone is supportive of her focusing on family right now."

Live Nation announced on May 31 that all scheduled performances were canceled and assured fans that refunds would be processed automatically.

Lopez, who recently released her ninth studio album, This Is Me... Now, was eager to embark on the tour after a five-year hiatus from the music scene.

The tour cancelation also sparked speculation about Lopez's marriage with actor Ben Affleck and concerns about her $90 million Las Vegas residency.

Reports suggest lackluster ticket sales for the tour also jeopardized her Vegas residency deal.

According to The Mirror, there were discussions about Lopez potentially performing a lengthy 90-show run at The Park MGM Theater, where she could earn up to $1 million per concert.

However, the latest report from the New York Post suggests uncertainty surrounding the deal.

Casino executives are worried about the future of the partnership, given the lukewarm reception to her latest album and tour, which resulted in the latter's cancellation.

Despite her previous success with consecutive Las Vegas residencies between 2016 and 2018, Lopez now faces challenges in maintaining her position in the entertainment industry.

However, Lopez's career is not going downhill. She is said to be basking in success once more thanks to her latest Netflix sci-fi thriller Atlas, which is making waves as a standout among streaming movies.

According to the latest streaming data from Luminate, Atlas emerged as the top-performing movie in the weekly rankings for May 24-30, as reported by Variety.

In a refreshing turn of events, Lopez is now seeing a welcome surge in favorable streaming numbers after all the negative reviews of her latest movie, according to the Daily Mail.
