Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's Wedding Is 'Hopefully Soon,' Close Friend Says

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce might be walking down the aisle soon, according to the Chiefs player's barber.

Pat Regan, Kelce's longtime hairdresser and close friend, gave some insight to his relationship with the "Cruel Summer" singer, saying that he hopes a wedding could be in the near future.

"Hopefully soon," he said on a recent episode of the Your Day Off podcast. "That would be fun."

Regan went on to share his experiences with Swift, saying that she's a "good girlfriend" and a genuinely nice person.

"It's kind of cool to see because I know her as a person and she's just a really nice person," he gushed. "She's very interested in what you're saying. She doesn't act like the most famous celebrity in the world-she's a good girlfriend to my friend."

Swift's attendance at the Chiefs games led to a surge in television ratings for the NFL. Regan says that he frequently sits in the box suites at the games, where Swift was commonly seen throughout the recent season. With the "Karma" singer now joining the Chiefs Kingdom, he reveals that their box was upgraded.

"It's been cool going to games with her and we get a whole separate box now," he spilled. "We're right in the middle of the field which is really cool."

While Swift referenced football in recent Tortured Poets Department songs like "The Alchemy" and "So High School," Regan says she does know her stuff when it comes to the game. He shares that "she's real into the games" and that "she's a football fan now which is cool."

Since Kelce and Swift started seeing each other last year, their relationship has gained attention from spectators all over the world. Regan reveals that the increased media spotlight on his friend has resulted in a bit more work for him, including traveling farther away and going through stricter security checks when he makes house calls.

"It doesn't seem too crazy to me," he said regarding the 34-year-old's recent increase in popularity. "However, things have changed. He had to change houses, so things have changed for me. Now I have to drive further and there's more security."

He does say that his newfound fame has changed their friendship a bit. While he is happy for his friend's success, he says that he does not spend as much time with him, saying he used to sleep at his house every weekend.

"Travis is one of my bros so I used to go sleep at his house every weekend," he continued, "so things have kind of changed a little bit now, but it's cool to see. I'm happy for him and seeing the stardom that he's getting."

A recent report on the A-list couple's relationship said that while Kelce "cares very deeply" about the Grammy-winner, "he's just not there yet" when it comes to marriage. However, with a source as close as Regan is to Kelce, wedding bells might be closer than expected.
