After the massive success of her makeup and skincare line, Rihanna is expanding her business. She announced her first-ever haircare line under her Fenty company. Amid the recent news, fans continue to ask her to release new music.
Taking to her official Instagram account, the "Where Have You Been" hitmaker shared a video of herself rocking a blonde bob hair. The rest of the clip featured several people with different hair textures, including British singer Jess Glynne.
In the caption, she wrote: "a new family is moving in! @fentyhair is pullin up and it's time to finally have the hair experience you've been waiting for."
She further explained that changing her hairstyle matters to her. After having almost every color, texture, length, and more, the singer is happy to announce that she will launch Fenty Hair, a flexible line of products that aims to repair damaged hair.
"Every single product is designed to strengthen and repair all types of hair, which is what we truly need! It's time to play and get stronger by the style," she added.
Rihanna's new line will be available on June 13, 2024, but fans can sign up for early access on fentyhair.com.
Following the announcement, fans took to social media to express their thoughts about the singer as she has yet to release new music.
"rihanna doing everything except fenty music," one wrote.
"Releasing everything but an album lmaaaao," another one wrote.
"when Rihanna is trending under 'Music' and i know before i even click that it has *nothing* to do with music..." one noted.
"Rihanna dropped Savage x Fenty, Fenty beauty & is about to drop Fenty hair.. Baby WHERE IS THE FENTY MUSIC ?!" one shared.
Rihanna last released an album in 2016 titled Anti, and the musician has yet to drop or announce a new record. However, she made a brief comeback by releasing "Lift Me Up" in 2022 as part of the movie Black Panther: Wakanda Forever's official soundtrack.
The recent news comes after the musician skipped this year's MET Gala despite her highly-anticipated appearance.
In a previous interview with Extra, she gave a hint about what she would wear, saying she's "keeping it really simple this year" and that it would highlight her hair and makeup.
"Very simple-ish ... compared to everything I have done.. I am showing up for dinner," she said.
The night of the first Monday of May came, and many celebrities graced the carpet, including Ariana Grande, Dua Lipa, Nicki Minaj, Doja Cat, Sabrina Carpenter, and more. However, many were surprised that Rihanna didn't attend the event.
A source later revealed to People magazine that the singer skipped the biggest night in fashion due to the flu and opted to stay home with her two children.
