Ever since their public debut in September, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have been hounded with engagement speculations and wedding proposal pressures.

They themselves appeared to be on a fast track toward engagement, ticking off relationship milestones and igniting the hopes of fans and families alike.

Yet, despite the outward appearance of a fairy-tale romance, the reality is quite different. The couple, both 34, find themselves increasingly burdened by the mounting pressure to take the plunge into matrimony.

According to an exclusive insider speaking to Life & Style, the incessant inquiries from friends and family have begun to take a toll on the pair.

"The constant questioning from friends and family is starting to really get them down," the source told Life & Style. "Not a day goes by they don't get hit with gentle hints and questions."

Their recent string of romantic getaways, from a Parisian escapade to a luxurious retreat in Lake Como, has only fueled speculation further. However, Kelce, a Super Bowl champion, is known for his reluctance to succumb to external pressures.

"The social media and fan chatter about an engagement is bad enough, but he also gets questions from friends, and the more he's pressured, the more he withdraws," the source noted.

Despite Kelce's desire to solidify their relationship on his own terms, Swift has shifted her focus to her European tour, growing weary of the relentless speculation.

"Her friends bring it up all the time, and she's ordered them to stop mentioning it. The constant questions are not helping. She's 100 percent sure that Travis is The One, and she's just hoping the proposal happens soon, because she wants to get on with the next stage of their lives," the insider said.

Kelce couldn't contain his amusement when Jason Sudeikis playfully teased him about his relationship with Swift at the Big Slick Celebrity Weekend charity event.

The 34-year-old NFL star burst into laughter during a sketch in which Sudeikis quipped, "Hey, Travis, let's talk. It's just us guys here. When are you going to put a ring on [Taylor]?"

Sudeikis also alluded to a recent controversy involving Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker, who made remarks during a graduation speech suggesting that women should prioritize homemaking over pursuing successful careers.

While Kelce was obviously not angry with the question, he did not answer it either.
