Grey's Anatomy actor Anthony Hill had a chance encounter with Taylor Swift's boyfriend, Travis Kelce. He confirmed that the global pop star still watches the medical drama series.
In an Instagram post, Hill shared a photo of himself and the Kansas City Chiefs' tight end and other photos from his short trip back to his hometown.
"I may or may not have gotten confirmation that TSwift does, in fact, still watch 'Grey's Anatomy,'" he wrote in the caption of his post.
However, while Swift is an avid show fan, it seems Kelce doesn't watch the drama unfolding inside the fictional Grey-Sloan Memorial Hospital in Seattle.
"It was then made very clear that [Kelce] absolutely does not watch with her ... time to start bruh!" Hill implored.
Last weekend, Hill was in Kansas City for the Big Slick fundraiser to benefit Children's Mercy Hospital, where he played "Friendly Fued" with Paul Rudd, Stranger Things star Gaten Matarazzo, and more. He also shared a video of Patrick Mahomes tossing a football to Kelce in a packed stadium.
Swift and Grey's Anatomy go back a long way. In 2008, Swift was over the moon when her song "White Horse" was added to an episode on the show's fifth season.
"You should've seen tears streaming down my face when I got the phone call that they were going to use that song," Swift told Billboard then. "I have never been that excited."
According to Swift, her "life goal" is to have a song on Grey's Anatomy.
"My love of 'Grey's Anatomy' has never wavered. It's my longest relationship to date," she mused at the time.
In 2012, Swift named her cat after the show's lead character, Meredith Grey. Ellen Pompeo, the actress who plays Meredith Grey, even got invited to Swift's star-studded "Bad Blood" music video in 2015, along with Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star Mariska Hargitay.
Swift's love for Hargitay's character, Oliva Benson, also pushed her to name her second cat after the fierce police detective.
Additionally, in 2019, she ran into Grey's Anatomy actress Sandra Oh at the TIME 100 Gala. In her speech, she acknowledged the Golden Globe-winning actress's presence at the time, fangirling about her earlier encounter with her.
"I know Sandra Oh is in the room, which shakes me to my very core," she raved at the time. "That's my whole life there."
Grey's Anatomy was renewed for a 21st season on ABC. It is the longest-running scripted primetime show on the network and the longest-running scripted primetime series.
