Over the weekend, Ben Affleck paid a visit to his wife, Jennifer Lopez, at their $60 million Beverly Hills, Calif., mansion. This visit coincides with reports suggesting they are considering selling the property amid speculation about their relationship.
Photos obtained by Page Six show the Gone Girl star departing the residence in his black Mercedes on Sunday night.
Photographers at the scene informed us that Affleck, aged 51, spent approximately four hours at home with his wife, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. local time.
Four hours is plenty of time and means they got a lot covered. On what, that we still do not know. They could have discussed how to separate their properties or talk about a reconciliation - no one knows at this moment.
The recent rendezvous occurs against the backdrop of escalating rumors suggesting that the couple, speculated to be on the brink of parting ways, has decided to list their extravagant residence for sale, just one year after acquiring it outright.
According to multiple sources cited by TMZ on Saturday, Jennifer Lopez, aged 54, and Ben Affleck, have enlisted the services of realtor Santiago Arana from The Agency to handle the sale of their property.
TMZ further disclosed that the pair, known for their roles in Gigli, have set the asking price at "around $65 million" for the mansion.
Originally purchased by Lopez and Affleck in May 2023 for a staggering $60.85 million, the luxurious estate spans an impressive 43,000 square feet.
Boasting a remarkable 17 bedrooms, 30 bathrooms, and parking accommodations for up to 80 vehicles, the residence also features lavish amenities including an indoor sports complex, a sports bar, outdoor lounging areas, and a stunning zero-edge pool.
According to some reports however, the couple has not "officially separated" yet. Instead, they just have been spending time away from each other to reflect and do things on their own first.
A source told ET, "Jen and Ben have been living separate lives but have not officially separated yet. At this point, they are just doing their own thing. They went into their relationship very optimistic and thought things could change, but they haven't."
It was also previously revealed that Jennifer is actively scouting for a new residence, signaling a potential shift in their living arrangements. Meanwhile, Ben has settled into a temporary abode, reportedly a rental property in Brentwood, priced at a staggering $100,000 per month.
Interestingly, this rental happens to be conveniently situated near his former spouse, Jennifer Garner, adding an intriguing layer to the narrative.
