Sean "Diddy" Combs remains silent following a shocking revelation about his alleged involvement in Tupac Shakur's 1996 murder.

The embattled rap mogul has been keeping mum since New York Magazine released a bombshell report on Wednesday, June 12, tying him to the shooting incident that killed Shakur. The outlet cited former Los Angeles Police Department detective Greg Kading, who claimed Combs ordered a hit on Shakur and Suge Knight in 1995.

Combs did not respond to New York Magazine's request for comments, but he has repeatedly declared he had no connection to the murder case despite Duane "Keefe D" Davis' alleged secret confession to Kading.

For what it's worth, the confession in court disclosed that Combs told Crop gangsters that he wanted "the dudes' heads."

"Man, we'll wipe their a-- out quick," Davis reportedly responded.

However, things became personal for Davis when Shakur punched his nephew Orlando Anderson in the face during a Mike Tyson fight at the MGM Grand arena in Las Vegas, Nev., in September 1996 - before the shooting incident.

From there, Davis allegedly obtained a .40 caliber Glock from Eric "Von Zip" Martin, a drug dealer, and followed Shakur until they opened fire in a drive-by. Shakur died from his injuries on September 13, 1996, days after the September 7, 1996, shooting.

Several hip-hop artists have also tied Combs to the murder case over the years, including 50 Cent and Eminem.

In April, Combs' response to Eminem's 2018 diss track, "Killshot," resurfaced. In the song, Eminem tied him to the murder of the late icon.

"Kells, the day you put out a hit's the day Diddy admits that he put the hit out that got Pac killed, ah!" Eminem rapped.

The Bad Boy Records founder later appeared in a since-deleted episode of Joe Budden's YouTube series to reveal that his situation with Eminem was handled privately. The "Mockingbird" rapper soon claimed the lyrics were a joke.

Meanwhile, 50 Cent posted a photo of Shakur on Instagram in October 2023 after Davis was arrested.

He wrote, "Damn so pac got lined by brother love. LOL Time to Lawyer up, s--- might get sticky."
