Model Gabbriette Bechtel recently revealed her engagement to The 1975's frontman, Matty Healy.

Following a night of celebration at Charli XCX's concert in New York for her latest album Brat, Bechtel excitedly shared photos on her Instagram story flaunting the unique black gem engagement ring adorned with dazzling diamonds on both the stone and the band, according to Vulture.

This comes after Taylor Swift released The Tortured Poets Department, in which most songs were written about Healy.

But as Swift moves closer to scoring a touchdown with her beau, Travis Kelce, news has surfaced that the "Guilty As Sin" singer is taken aback by her former flame's recent proposal to his girlfriend of less than one year.

Sources reveal exclusively to Life & Style that Swift is reeling from the unexpected news.

"[Swift] wasn't surprised to hear that [Healy] was seriously dating someone, I mean, so was she, but she was shocked to learn that he was already engaged."

"She's happily moved on to [Kelce] and couldn't be happier, but a little part of her questions if [Healy] was ever really into her."

Healy and Swift decided to split after only a month of being together last summer, even though rumors circulated that the rock star was looking to commit to the pop star.

In the lyrics of "But Daddy, I Love Him," a song widely speculated to have been inspired by Healy, Swift croons about her "wild boy" and describes him as "crazy, but he's the one I want."

"Now I'm dancing in my dress in the sun and/ Even my daddy just loves him/I'm his lady, and oh my God."

"You should see your faces/ Time, doesn't it give some perspective/ No, you can't come to the wedding/ I know he's crazy but he's the one I want."

Conversely, she appeared to address him in a veiled manner through her song "The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived." In the lyrics, Swift narrates the story of an enamored Jehovah's Witness suit-wearing partner who tarnished a once-bright summer by suddenly "ghosting" her.

"You hung me on your wall, stabbed me with your push pins / In public showed me off, then sank in stoned oblivion."

"I'll say, 'Good riddance' / 'Cause it wasn't sexy once it wasn't forbidden / I would've died for your sins instead I just died inside."

Many Swifties speculated that The 1975 lead singer had plans to propose to Swift before their relationship took an unexpected turn.

The fandom was left incensed when controversial remarks made by Healy resurfaced, raising questions about the reasons behind their breakup.

The Mirror reported in April that a Swiftie said on X, formerly Twitter, "HE WAS GONNA PROPOSE TO HER IF IT WORKED WASNT HE."

Another said, "He broke up with her to protect her from ruining her career."
