In times of turmoil, Jennifer Lopez seeks solace in her family.
Her marriage with Ben Affleck is reportedly hitting rough waters, and divorce looms.
According to a recent insider speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Lopez actively hunts for a new home and finds comfort with her mother, sisters, and children as she traverses this challenging phase.
Amid ongoing speculation about Lopez and Affleck's marriage, the couple has refrained from addressing the rumors publicly. Sources suggest the Batman v. Superman actor has relocated from their shared home to a luxurious $100,000 monthly rental in Brentwood, attributing challenges to communication breakdowns, differing personalities, and excessive social media sharing.
Rumors further circulate that the couple are moving out of their $60 million Beverly Hills estate as they recently put it up for sale, while the "Jenny From the Block" singer cancels her upcoming This is Me...Live summer tour to focus on spending quality time with family.
Lopez, known for her tight bond with sisters Lynda and Leslie Lopez, frequently showcases their support by taking them to high-profile gatherings. Lynda made a memorable appearance at the 2023 Met Gala and stood by her sister's side when Affleck could not attend.
Rumors within Lopez's inner circle suggest her sisters and mother, Guadalupe Rodriguez, "turned against" Affleck due to relationship tensions. Adding to the drama, Lopez's manager, Benny Medina, reportedly strongly dislikes her husband.
"I understand he has checked out of the marriage but she has yet to accept the truth and thinks therapy might help," an insider revealed to the Daily Mail. "It is made more difficult by emotions involving their five children."
"The reasons it hasn't worked out are many but losing [Lopez] family means losing [Lopez]. Her mom, sisters, and Benny are against him."

Lopez and her sisters were raised in the Bronx by their parents, Lupe and David. Lynda pursued journalism while Leslie followed music education. At her film Atlas premiere, the "Get Real" singer emphasized family, stating, "Family is something you can rely on."
Meanwhile, Lopez reignites her friendship with Leah Remini after a 2022 disagreement when Remini warned her about Affleck's intentions.
An insider told Page Six, Remini told Lopez that Affleck "is selfish and is not fully committed as a partner."
"Lopez was so mad, she cut off all ties" and then didn't invite her best friend to her wedding.
Affleck is getting support from friends like Matt Damon and even his ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
